Irina is a European Specialist in Small Animal Oncology, and currently works for the Royal Veterinary College where she is the Head of Oncology.
About Irina
Irina graduated from Justus Liebig University, Germany, in 2010 and followed up to complete a two-year doctoral thesis on genetic mutations in canine cancer.
After spending the next year in a private referral practice in Germany she moved to the UK to complete an internship in Small Animal Oncology at the VRCC, Essex.
Irina finished her residency training in Oncology at the University of Liverpool in 2017 and worked as Oncology Specialist at Davies Veterinary Specialists in Higham Gobion, Bedfordshire, for the following two years. Then in 2019 Irina joined the Royal Veterinary College where she is now the Head of Oncology.
