Veterinary Leadership & Management
“Motivation”
Do you want to learn how to be a more inspiring and motivating leader? Do you need your team to take new ideas on board and be flexible to change, or to work towards new practice goals? Maybe you’re a clinical coach and need to understand how to motivate your students?
As a leader, it is vital that you possess the skills to guide and motivate employees to get the job done and done well, and also to take on board new ideas and concepts and work towards making them a success. But do you know what drives people? What makes them tick? This can be different for each member of your unique team, so it’s important to be able to understand what works for each person.
This module will cover theories of motivation, exploring the factors that are the most important in motivating people – and therefore uncovering how to motivate not only yourself, but others too. Mastering these skills will lead to greater happiness, job satisfaction, performance and teamwork.
