This course will explore the key factors involved in promoting best practice in rabbit anaesthesia and will offer an overview of techniques including those involved in the pre-operative, induction, airway management, maintenance, monitoring and recovery phases.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their current practice protocols, explore and discuss cases and explore the most up to date recommendations for the many different aspects involved in promoting safer rabbit anaesthesia.
After successful completion of the course you will have a wealth of new ideas to take back to practice, and should feel more confident in managing rabbit anaesthesia.
As part of your assessed coursework, you will produce an outline of anaesthesia guidelines for a range of different scenarios that you can discuss with the rest of your team, as well as a pre-anaesthetic checklist that is specifically tailored for rabbits in your practice.
